Why yes, that was my boyfriend taking names in the SC.

Sanboy says he'll never win (not the nomination, the actual election).

I say, if we get a race between McCain and Obama, I'll go to bed happy in November - and if my boyfriend wins - well, it will be a brave new world when I wake up, won't it?

McCain, hmm. I just want the Republican to win who has least mainstream appeal. Ahem.

no no - 'cause the thing is, McCain would make an OK president. I don't ever want us in a position where a jackass like Bush (ie: Huckabee) could get himself elected, just by coasting on the tide of racial hate that's gonna come Obama's way.

I wish that Obama would win the election, but Sanboy's right - he probably won't. So it's important that the person he's running against be someone we can wake up to in the morning without the world (literally) ending.

Also, this election has the chance to bring out the best in us - to be a race between two people of honor and intelligence and integrity. If it can be that kind of race, it will go a long way towards straightening out some of the things we've fucked up in the country (and the world)
